My Second Demo Teaching: European Union
Flow of the Demo Teaching
1. Introducing the Teacher
Knowing the teacher is the first step in gaining student's trust and attention. That was why I introduced myself in the most creative way that I know while utilizing the available tools in the classroom such as the television. I edited a 20 seconds video introduction about myself, and I also made it in a way that my students would understand it better.
2. Motivation
I presented a picture of different European flags and I let the students identify which country it is through recitation. They actively answered all of the 10 items.
This activity prior discussion helped me understand the level of knowledge of my students regarding the topic.

3. Lesson Proper
I explained to the students information about the European Union. How wide it is, the population, area, number of member countries and its short history. Even though they were having a hard time understanding my English, I can tell that they learned from my discussion because they actively answered my questions during recitations.
I also show the map of European Union.
After which, I distributed 12 small stars to the students. I mandated them to describe the European Union based from the map that I presented. After 3 minutes, the students put the 12 stars on the blue cartolina on the board, forming the flag of the European Union.
I also presented European Union's success in terms of economy using data and rankings (GDP and world’s leading service and industrial center)
4. Activity

Most of the students drew mangoes because it is one of the main product in Cao Lanh City.
